More touristy stuff

im such a heavy sleeper, didn’t not hear the rain/thunder last night ….. we didn’t have it as severe as our home town.

Overcast day, so decided to drive to the Model Village in Godshill.  A delightful place, 1/10th models -  there is a model of the model village in the model of the model village!   It’s a fascinating place and the surrounding trees/shrubs are all meticulously maintain and “restrained” - a bit like bonsai but on a larger scale.  

After lunch we made our way to Bembridge to see the other Warners place, then on to Ryde.  Their season is not yet open, so most touristy bits on the esplanade were shut - so we didn’t stop.

Back to Yarmouth and took a trip on the pier - pretty blowy but dry.  After that bracing session, stopped for coffee/cake before returning to the lodge.

Spent some time doing some crochet.  Enjoyed outer last evening meal, followed by a few games of rummy in the lounge.

Packing and home tomorrow - an enjoyable 5 days away.  (Took pain relief today and my knee feeling a bit better.)
