In the blue corner

Whilst the hydrangeas are determinedly pink, I have managed to grow something blue elsewhere in the garden. This lovely clematis is next to a ceanothus that is flowering better this year than ever before. The bees love it but I have so far failed to catch one in a good enough shot; maybe when I have more time and can stick at it for longer than a quick post-work blip.

The second of our two induction days today for the students joining us in September. A long day but all went well and that's another thing off the list.
