Delia Derbyshire - I / IV

The building..

Went with a couple of friends to the official opening of the Delia Derbyshire building of Coventry University - their new Arts & Society building. Named after the patriachaly and establishmentaly suppressed BBC pioneer of electronic music and the actual composer of the original Dr Who theme in 1963. As a child she was exposed to the sounds from the heavy bombing of Coventry in WWII.

It included a day long music festival centred around her  - DeliaPhonic (to follow). You can see the reflection of the original cathedral spire in the picture of me - without my glasses which I recently lost.
