Wet & Windy

Back to the Sunday early starts, a ‘Rachel Row’ with no Rachel. OK to start with then the wind and rain appeared and in short order we were drenched and getting chilled.
Arriving back on the slip and with no indication that the two of us that were spares for the next session where required I headed for home pretty sharpish.
A hot shower to warm through before a coffee and sandwich I settled down with my book for the afternoon. Mrs S awoke from her pre-night shift “Kombat Kip” and we had a quick catch up on what the coming week has in store, looks to be a busy one.
A few slices of birthday cake, a few squares of bread pudding and some crisps, the birthday goodies have almost gone.
