A Bug’s Life
This is a Rose Chafer (Cetonia aurata) which was brought in by one of the tutors. She collected a little tub of them from her garden and all of the students from 5 to 15 were fascinated with them. They’re a beautiful metallic green colour.
I was lucky to get an afternoon off as my student wasn’t in. I tidied and cleaned Poppy’s room and changed her sheets ready for her homecoming on Sunday. Alf is now clear of covid and has gone off to Liv’s for the weekend.
My win of the day was collecting a wee sample from Bertie and whizzing it straight round to the vets.
