Guerrilla knitting

...or at least that's what I think it's called

Not sure if this phenomenon has taken off elsewhere, but it's big in Oxford, where the guerrilla knitters have jollied up bollards, lamp-posts etc with generous helpings of garter stitch.

I saw this particular example on my way to work, and it made me smile
