Évora evening

We left Lisbon behind earlier today and drove to Evora which is about an hour away. A very pretty town with its cobbled streets, imposing buildings and numerous restaurants. A wine-lover's paradise also! It is evident from the outset that they take their wine very seriously here. It is interesting to be here at this time of year and to get a sense of  local life and culture before the tourists arrive.
Although winter is slower than usual to loosen lts grip, the sun is quite hot when the clouds move off.
Looking forward to exploring further tomorrow.
