Primulae auricula
I had to get up at 0630 because the new washer was arriving between 0700 and 0900. It was a hard task to get going after walking yesterday evening.
In the event, the men and the machine arrived at 0800. They installed the new machine and I used it as soon as I could. It seemed to work well, surprising because I omitted to put the liquid in with the clothes.........
It is very, very quiet!
I made myself do a quick supermarket shop in Aldi and had a strong coffee.
I had a sleep, then ventured out for a village walk in the late afternoon.
I stopped to talk to Suzanne whose front garden has featured in previous blips. She invited me to see her back garden. It was a delight and a revelation. Behind her narrow terraced house, the garden opens out to both sides and it is truly wonderful.
I liked her display of old fashioned primulas very much.
She had taken me to see Paris Quadrifolia (Herb Paris) because she knows I go looking for it in the woods near Barrasford every year. She has a lovely clump of healthy plants (see one as an extra).
Tonight I have edited photos for the Walking Festival Facebook page and soon it will be time for bed.
