Mad Dog Mcrea weekend

Last year we saw Mad Dog Mcrea at the Lyme Regis Folk Festival and we really liked them. Nigel spotted the Mad Dog Mcrea weekend event in Exeter so here we are.

The event is on three nights with multiple bands playing. We’ve listened and often danced for over four hours. Most of the bands were great. The photo is of The Barefoot Bandit, the last band to play and they were brilliant. I’m out of practice though of being in large crowds of people who were all drinking lots and often tipping beer on the floor as they danced. It’s nice to be sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea.
