Fox Squirrel

Instead of getting my plants in this morning, I had only just gotten all my potting soil when Kent called to say he was on his was home to get me so we could grab an ATV and do our ride around.

The humidity was already killing me so he didn’t have to twist my arm and I was ready to go!

The egrets & herons were conspicuous in their absence although I did see 2 egrets. Saw lots of turtles and also a water moccasin. The dragonflies were just beginning to show up and although I failed to get a picture, we saw a bald eagle.

Usually when we are lucky enough to see fox squirrels they are on the move and at a great distance but today we were super lucky and got a good look at two fox squirrels.

We got home with enough time to shower & change and then head out again to meet Kent’s siblings and spouses for our monthly dinner together.
