The lone haaf netter

I may have blipped this lone haaf netter but he wasn't really a lone one as there were about another 3 or 4 going off into the incoming tide for the catch of the day! I was at Bowness on Solway with PaulaJ. Prior to that we had a very nice afternoon tea at the Wallsend tea room in Bowness on Solway which is worth a visit if ever you are in the area.

Thanks for identifying the baby bird in yesterday's blip. I had no idea it was a swallow having never seen one stationary before! As soon as I drove off it flew away, hopefully to waiting parents!
