2024 Thursday — What a Day

The National Day of Prayer on California’s Central Coast is now in today’s history book. The pastors, the ministerial association, from this area organized this gathering.

The room at El Morro Church was filled with people sitting at round tables. The people at each table formed little circles of prayer as they voiced their gratitude and praises to our Heavenly Father and pleas for Him to heal our nation. If someone doesn’t know how to pray, they are like the disciples who said to Jesus, “Teach us to pray,” and Jesus started with this “Our Father Who art in Heaven . . . “ Most of us can finish the prayer. It’s not hard to prayer. Just say sentence prayers like sentences we would say to a friend. Jesus is our friend.

Our Pastor Luke from Morro Bay Presbyterian Church let us know about this prayer event. We are so glad we were there.
