Purple Majesty

Yes, you're right...the mashed potatoes arepurple!!!
I'd already planned to cook the venison & red wine sausages but needed spuds to go with them.
One of the great things about where I work on a Thursday is that Sainsbury's is right next door.
They had a vast array of potatoes but the 'purple majesty' ones caught my eye (and imagination). They are according to the bag full of antioxidants and vitamins, and despite the colour, cook, mash and taste just like a regular potato.
And went down just great with the sausages!
