Our local team is in the Stanley Cup hockey playoffs for the first time in several years.
Long suffering fans have been longing to show their loyalty for a long time. Cars are gradually being adorned with flags. People are wearing jerseys to work on game days.
The team won the first, of a possible four, best of seven game series tonight. These displays will only increase as the playoffs progress.
