The day started warmish and dry but overcast. Drove to Clifton for my hygienist appointment, and then had a browse around the street market to kill a bit of time before driving down the M1 to meet AA at Crick. Passed this cow parsley as I was walking from the car park in Clifton. There was a whole field of it immediately next to the pavement. It was an easy drive on the motorway and so I was 20 minutes early. Went straight to the cafe and got a table. It was full by the time AA arrived so I was pleased to have arrived in time to do so. We had a lovely lunch snd a nice catch-up, leaving at about 2.45. We had planned a walk, but it was raining and chilly by then so we abandoned that and I drove home via The Range to collect an order. They had lots of very healthy looking bedding plants, all with 20% off , so I bought 7 packs( 20 in each) . Did some financial admin at home before S arrived. She was about an hour late, having gone to drop off some stock in Melbourne for their Open Arts event, which apparently was very chaotic! Had a nice evening with her.
