A Canal Walk...
Had a delightful walk alongside the Huddersfield Narrow Canal today at Mossley along the valley of the River Tame. Opened in 1811, the canal fell into disuse in the 1940s but was restored and re-opened in 2001. It runs for 20 miles between Huddersfield in West Yorkshire and Ashton under Lyne in Greater Manchester, UK.
