Plotting and Planting

I have a hard time framing things, something about the permanence of a frame that shuts and confines; I much prefer a cork board.
Today, I made a big effort to give my sore neck and shoulders a break from gardening, but the effort pretty much failed. I fussed around inside (the picture remains frame-free), then, after mailing a birthday package to sister Beatrice, I bought a bunch of annuals at Freddies. They have a 50% off rack, and I don't mind freeing little root-bound plants, coaxing them to spread out a little. Then I found myself on hands and knees pulling too many weeds again. Oh, I love it all, until morning. Ouch, ouch.
