Nice Day Out!

Unusually for us we left the house at 11am on a Saturday morning to head into the very heart of Barcelona on a mission to buy me some new headgear to protect me for the sun’s rays and, in the short term, protect waiters and fellow diners from the worst aspects of my wounds. A new stylish Ecuadorean Panama is now in the bag (mainly for evening wear), along with a broad-brimmed (but not OTT) American Stetson (for colder climates) and a fashionable German all-linen cap (for interior or ‘lighter’ situations) . . . all UV treated. I want one more with a trailing neck cover á la French foreign legion for more extreme mid-day sun conditions - the ever helpful New Experiments has given me a website in this regard.
