At the helm Day 2

It had been raining hard for a few days, but the weather broke just as I went out the door this morning. I left in the dark to meet Simphiwe at the Philippi train station by 0730, and only got slightly lost before finding it. The dawn and morning rush are very beautiful out here.
We had no trouble getting through the 5 hours of class with today's group, but my voice is mostly destroyed. The best part was teaching them to create Powerpoint presentations about themselves, including pictures taken with a digital camera, and then putting the presentations up on the overhead projector. These young'ns haven't gotten phones yet, and when you haven't used cameras/internet/facebook before, seeing your picture pop up on a big screen is pretty exciting stuff.
