The yard is blooming

A huge difference to ten days ago. +17°C and sunny again, but that's about to change, temperature ten degrees down in a couple of days and possibly even snow again, though forecasts vary frequently.

Today it was the oats seed preparation day. Got the sorter set up and working by 10:30. I got a call from the tyre shop soon, so left Jussi to take care of the process and drove off with the broken tyre on the trailer. When I came back, the raw material (the excellent quality 2022 crop) was out, so had to think, measure and calculate a bit, and came up with the conclusion that we need some more, so made one big bag of last year's not-that-great crop. We got the machine and the place cleaned early enough to fit the wheel back to the tractor.

The sorter worked quite well this time, though there is one issue that needs fixing before next year. Not bad for a 1952 machine!
