Success!

This Blipfoto might not look like much but it means a lot to me, and to others involved in our grafting project. Over a year ago, a small group of us had a go at grafting some apple tree prunings to root stock and this is our first successful sapling that has been planted in the orchard. The red circle highlights the position of the graft.
Quite a group of us completed a number of necessary tasks, including weeding and mulching around the soft fruit bushes in the fruit cage.
Back at home, Nick completed the painting of some of our window sills.
