Bidding us goodnight

Here is Robert Plant with his band, Saving Grace, bidding us all good night in song at the end of last night's set in the Big Top in MontpellierGardens. He, and the band, were excellent. Another exceptional performance yesterday was that of Dee Dee Bridgewater performing in Cheltenham Town Hall. She put her own stamp on two of the most powerful songs ever written and first performed by the iconic Nina Simone and Billie Holiday - Mississippi Goddam and Strange Fruit. They were spinetingling renditions that brought the audience to their feet.
