Palladio

Palladio's stunning creation on Giudecca, Venice.  Chiesa del Redentore; Built in the 16th century to celebrate the city’s liberation from a terrible plague, the Church of the Redeemer is one of the major examples of Palladio’s religious architecture. The simple but imposing interior in the form of Latin cross contains works by Jacopo Tintoretto, A. Vivarini, and Paolo Veronese.

Extras include all sorts of random stuff - including the portico of this beautiful church, an embroidered textile covering a chapel altar in the same place, a slightly run down vehicle ferry, a skyline taken from the Peggy Guggenheim museum  cafe; the inevitable street scene.
