It's Blowing a Gale

The weather forecast is: Gale force winds, rain, thunder and lightning, sounds a bit like winter to me. The ski fields are CLOSED. I went out this morning just before it started to rain. I took this pic at Beacon Point, there are snow covered mountains in the distance, you just can't see them! The wind is whipping up the waves and blowing the kanuka bushes. It's a good day to stay indoors.
