Bunting 2

I named yesterday's blip 'bunting 1' because I fully intended on taking a picture today of the colourful bunting which is strung around our town this week in celebration of Inverurie's first Independent's Day.

The day was a celebration of all the local buisnesses which thrive in the town with all participating stores staying open till 8pm with special offers; everything from champagne and strawberries at the flooring store to make your own froggy face masks at the French deli.

Anyway as it happens my camera conked out of battery as I took a photo of a serene looking cow beside the railway path on the way to meet my lovely husband from the station and my phone conked out of battery as I took a photo of the special independent day window display in the ironmongery.

So all I have is a half hearted shot of the bunting alongside the war memorial garden.
