A carpet of Wild Garlic

Opted for a morning walk close to home. I headed up the valley from Sinnington to Appleton le Moors. Took my walking poles and got into a good rhythm.

As I returned through the woods the Wild Garlic was putting on a fine show. It was almost like walking through snow. As I returned to the car I enjoyed watching a Border Collie being put through its paces by its owner. Can you spot it in the extra?

Home in time for lunch. No sitting in bank holiday traffic!
