GOOD FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Went up to Mums first thing to style her hair. She’d already washed it and I think I did quite a good job although I won’t be putting her usual hairdresser out of a job!!
My 2 tennis friends came over for lunch at 12 they bought flowers, cakes and laughter (hence our WhatsApp name…CAKE AND CACKLES!!). At 1:30 The Rev’s Bro and SIL came with flowers and cakes and some more laughter too. But they also came to give some real genuine help…the lads went to buy new fish for the tank (The Rev’s pets)
my lovely SIL helped changed the beds and do the ironing. Both of them also were on constant tea and coffee duty.
We enjoyed pizza takeaway…no cooking and no washing up. (The Rev had goat curry that was delivered by über eats as a surprise from one of my friends…thanks K..he loved it!)
The Rev had several snoozes through the day but we were both exhausted when everyone eventually left as 8:30.
