Down mood

I have been unwell for a couple of days so haven't been able to replace the suet to the feeder. I hope that the birds have not suffered seriously.
I feel sorry for the mother Osprey who now has the most heavy ordeal ahead of her, that is the weeks of hatching the egg(s). It is still cold and windy at times, and last night it was even raining. And I haven't seen the male bring to her one single fish yet.
Ha ha, and did someone suggest having seen the male take turns in hatching - - - ha ha has someone really seen!?
