Cinco de Mayo

We enjoyed a quiet breakfast out this morning in front of a crackling gas fireplace. It was quite cozy :) • We visited several places along the river, to include Cobbosseecontee Stream, where we spotted several Eastern Kingbirds. How nice to have them back! • A wonderful surprise was waiting for us when we arrived home. When I stepped out of the car something small and fast zoomed right past me!! My first instinct was “large insect” but that’s because I’m out of practice…it’s been almost seven months! The hummingbirds are back!!! We saw two, and I hope to blip one tomorrow :) • A Mexican black bean and rice dish is on the menu, plus guac, tortilla chips and salsa, and a couple of cervezas to wash it all down • ¡Felicidades!
