My sister, Craig and Luca are also in Devon for the week at a cottage so we met up with them today on the beach. Luca was over-excited by the sand and the sea and rolled around in it and kept piling handfuls of sand on Mr EG's surfboard. Been a scorcher today and Mr EG managed a surf too.

Lots of families on the beach with little ones. Made me sad dreaming of what could have been ... Perhaps one day Mike would have taught our darling Henry to surf. I wish so so much he was with us.
