The Village Green

Bewerley, a sweet little Village around the corner from Pateley Bridge, the haunt of Dearest when she was a wee girl, she’s loved it ever since, her Aunt was the housekeeper for a Shipping Solicitor back in the fifty’s and she would join her for the summer holidays, their man Chadwick would drive her down in big Daimler which made her travel sick!
