Ouch!
Eila and I took Sky to the William yard food fair this morning in the car. I then walked him home having met Sian and Ian with the dogs and shown Sian round the flat which is getting better all the time! We walked through Victoria park and Central Park in the rain! Eila had brought my purchases of venison steak and a jar of honey home!
We were both tired so we had a little rest then I cooked some rhubarb I had bought yesterday with some ginger and then added honey for dessert! Sky was asleep in his basket till I started to cook the venison!
I hadn’t been to church this morning so I went this evening but before I did that I took Sky for a quick walk around the park! As we left the house I walked along the pavement and two doors from home I tripped on a paving stone landing on my left knee and right hand and my glasses flew off my face but I kept hold of the dog! The next door neighbour came over to ask if I was okay and at this point I was sitting on the ground! I said I was fine except for the pain but I could walk so nothing serious! I then finished the dog walk and when in the park I noticed an iguana being walked! Most odd! Not even on a lead!
Having taken Sky back I then walked very slowly down to church and enjoyed communion and a sermon about being the aroma of Christ in the world!
I would very much value your prayers and good wishes for Richard who has a mental health appointment next Tuesday! He has stopped eating and drinking and lost 2kg in a week and is now just 42 Kg! His daughter Lydia and her husband John have come down to be with him for a while. It is so hard as she is not far off giving birth to the next generation!
