leaping poppy

On the afternoon walk I came across a few poppies that were open. Just as I was snapping away a wind came up and ruffled the petals. The petals are already somewhat wrinkled (this is an Iceland poppy) but the two petals at the bottom were caught in the gust. As I darkened the background the image reminded me of a dancer in mid-leap.
