Moeraki Boulders perhaps
On the beach at Moeraki are large spherical boulders which scientists say have been formed about 65 million years ago. These boulders look rather like the Moeraki boulders, but are more likely to have been created to imitate the naturally occurring boulders on a South Island beach.
The extra is a photo of the latest bird photographed this year; Number 49. The Austrlian White-backed Magpie. is self-introduced from Australia and is common and spreading further and further north
