IT'S THAT HAT AGAIN - ON MY EVER-WILLING MODEL!

I found it difficult to sleep last night - lots of things churning over in my brain - so I was quite late getting up this morning.

I had looked at the theme for Mono Monday last night which is “Double exposure” so when I came back into the bedroom and saw Mr. HCB looking out of the window whilst shaving - something he does most mornings, I might add - I told him to just stay still while I took a shot.  He asked why and I said it could be one of the shots for Mono Monday - and his comment to me was, well, I won’t tell you, but suffice to say he was not best pleased.  

You probably think I am the only one who whinges, but that is not quite true!  I think he was a bit upset because it was raining - again - and he had planned to do so much in the garden - so I can understand why he was a bit “grumpy”!

Anyway, he acquiesced eventually and I went downstairs rejoicing!  When we sat down to have lunch together, I asked if he would let me take a shot of him in the garden and he agreed immediately - obviously knowing that if he didn’t, then he wouldn’t be getting any pocket money for his holidays and it had stopped raining by then.

So here is Mr. HCB, minus his hat of course, because he doesn’t put that on until he goes outside - shaving with his electric shaver and then another one of him, complete with Tilley hat, next to his favourite Guernsey Cream clematis.

I have fartnarkled with this a little in Snapseed and put a frame around it, so hope that it fits the bill for today.
