Not the best day. This morning, we went to the bowls club to do our turn on the cleaning rota. On the way back to the car, I caught my toe on a kerbstone, stuck my hands out to save myself, clouted both knees but luckily I narrowly missed head-butting a solid stone wall. Worth the grazed hands to avoid braining myself but ouch! I’m not exaggerating - it was far too close for comfort…
I’ve spent the afternoon snuggled under a blanket on the sofa, hoping the warmth would ease the stiffness, while I caught up on some reading. Mr W has been looking after me.
