Highway 101 Siuslaw River Bridge

The Siuslaw River Bridge was built in 1936 and is unusual as it has a drawbridge section between the two arches to allow tall mast ships to pass.
The extra photo of a Sockeye Salmon sculpture, made from recycled chrome auto parts, is a work from the artist who created the chrome Heron along the bike path in Eugene.
We expect to have a pleasant drive back home to Eugene this morning. 
Our weekend getaway for Kathy's birthday celebrations was delightful to say the least.
