Not a practical place to sleep

I went to Leighton Moss today with a friend and decided I would leave the camera behind. Well, that was a mistake. Mum was keeping a lazy eye on her little ones who were fast asleep in the middle of the path. I suppose we were on her patch. Everyone was being really careful as we passed them, and still they slumbered on. A couple of deer decided to settle down for their nap next to one of the hides. The weather was beautiful but, coming home it was fairly apparent it had been full on rain in Kendal.
