Delicately veined heart shaped petals filled with warmth and brightness, look pretty against the dark green foliage running down my fence line.

Quiet day as I steadily worked through my house jobs, a warm 20C, we are certainly having some great winter weather. I've been able to hang the washing outside and get it dry in one day. Already missing Daughter A, thank you all for your lovely words for Daughter A's portrait, I do find portraits extremely challenging.

I'm just going to take a hot cuppa out into the garden, I see some little goldfinches flitting around, some are getting quite cheeky and are coming close to the house. Sunset is about half an hour away and the temperature will soon start to drop and dampness will fill the air.
