Journey to Rhodes

Today Orla and I made the long trip from Glasgow to Rhodes to start our week of sun and swimming. This is the view from our balcony which really built the anticipation of the fun we'll be having.

We're staying in the Atlantica Princess, all inclusive with Thomson holidays. We got our wrist bands on arrival which we have to keep on for the whole week.

Orla was talking to everyone she could at Glasgow airport, telling them her name and age. She told the lady sitting next to us on the plane that "we're going to Rhodes on holiday!".

We were in a taxi from Rhodes airport to the hote and Orla asked the driver if he wanted to hear some Greek words. Then she could only remember "cafez" which means brown.
