Molly's pond

My grandfather mentioned the old name for this was Molly's Pond. Today it is at the edge of an area cleared for a housing development. Even in the UP people continue to reclaim chunks of nature that had recovered from the timbering and mining of the 18th, and 19th centuries. The UP is still an important area from timber and mining.
