Newhaven harbour

The port tender Conserver had people in the cabin, though it hasn't reported an AIS position for a long time .. 

We walked down by the Trinity path. Saw several pairs of eider ducks between the Old Chain Pier and the harbour, along with a few gulls on their usual spot just west of the breakwater. One male eider there too. At the Western harbour ponds there was one large adult swan; no sign of a nest or any other swans. Four mallard males spotted us and set off in a determined manner making wake to see if we had food to offer through the fence. Also saw a coot.  

Back by the no 11 bus which has its terminus out there.
