A Paddock Panorama
Today's image really only came about due to some roadworks. We'd done our usual Sunday food shop and were heading for our customary pint at The Horseshoes when we came across a road closure and had to find an alternative route. It was after we were leaving having consumed our pints that I remembered we had to to turn left instead of right due to the roadworks and caught sight of flashes of purple and yellow in my peripheral vision.
So of course, we had to pull over and on closer inspection I could see the horse in the paddock (there is a riding stables next to The Horseshoes) in its jazzy purple jacket and the two bright yellow buckets - or "garden flexi tubs" to give them their official name - on the right of the image with the lines of the fence posts and the buttercups adding another element. So I crossed a busy road (I did remember my green cross code!) and clambered up a glass verge to get this shot - sometimes you just have to go that extra mile for a blip image!
When I looked back at this paddock based panorama later I decided it needed the widescreen treatment, so it's best seen large! :-)
