Rainy day

OK V took this one. 
We had a leisurely start in the hotel and then wandered in tipping rain to an appointment nearby.  We then splashed our way to Smoking Goat, the Thai Grill place that V loves in Shoreditch.  This is me looking out at a mural. I feel I should have taken more of our environment in this trip.  I might change yesterday’s picture to one of Columbia Road as that sunshine lingered in the mind today.  

We went over to see B/C and the babies although B was working.  C has a new job which it was fun to hear about.  Both babies were having their nap when I arrived but they were tremendous fun once they’d woken up properly.  

We only spent a brief time there and set off first back to the hotel and then on to Waterloo where we got a train home in good time. 

House felt quiet without the dog.   There was already a deer standing by the fence so i look forward to seeing what the next day will bring when I go round the garden.  It’s been an incredibly wet day but the sun looks set to shine tomorrow.
