Crossing the River

Dog-Walker friends Ted, followed by Tony plus their four fox terriers, walking very carefully over the very frosty, icy bridge over the Taylor River early this morning. We had a heavy frost. Time to rug up with layers of Merino clothing.
A busy day, a visit to a GP during the morning then grocery shopping. To the hairdresser this afternoon. Thanks Emily and Jenny for looking after me so well. Later a quick trip to the library. And even later son Duncan and partner Ellen arrived from Dunedin. A very cold night. We had a good fire burning in the wood burner and the heat pump working hard. I expect a heavy frost tomorrow morning.
