Through The Railings, Maidstone Museum

Did the weekly food shop today instead of Sunday. It being a Bank Holiday it, of course, absolutely chucked it down nearly all day. We did, though, pop into town for a swift coffee and a slice of apple tart each with a scoop of ice cream. Very nice it was too!
On the way back to car we spotted the floral decorations on the railings which were all made by the Soul Stitch Society. It was formed last year after the success of a series of textile workshops which started at Maidstone Museum's Warm Hub. It's a growing community which brings people together to skill share and try new techniques.
