Sprechen sie deutsch?

I guess this little one might have in a bygone age:) It's stamped Germany on the neck at the back of the base and carries the initials A M. It's over 60 years old to my knowledge and the eyes open and shut too...such a warm expression on the face...a shame the rest of the doll is long gone :(
