A close encounter!

A lovely day ..... sunny & warm ..... at last Spring has sprung!

We had a lovely surprise on our walk this afternoon ..... we were wandering "up the road" as usual when we spotted this fellow strolling along the grass verge!

We stood very still & he got quite close to us .... then a cyclist rode up behind him & he was off across the field! Shame as I think he would have come closer but a real thrill anyway :-)

After that "close encounter" he just had to be my blip :-)
