Gabbleduck

The first back at work after a holiday is always tough, but luckily today was only a morning shift which seemed like a civilised way to get back into the saddle. While making a coffee, and waiting for the kettle to boil, I noticed an old hot water urn and coffee machine in the corner – probably waiting to be disposed of somehow. The reflections in the chrome were interesting and I thought they would come out well with a bit of AI abstraction. 

I was really pleased with this surrealist image of the scene – especially after a fair bit of fine tuning. With all the mirrored chrome, I was quite amused to see what the AI did with my reflected image... it reminded me of how I always imagined the gabbleducks from the Neal Asher novels.
