First Bloom

From this lovely old rose. It has been a lovely weather wise. I took this image this morning before the sun got around to that part of the garden. Had a couple of things to do in Town this morning, before any gardening.

This afternoon it had really warmed up, but as I am away shortly, I got the mower out and got the lawns cut and the edges trimmed. 

Had just finished when I get a call from Sue wanting to to know if the kettle was on :-))  So we spent a lovely couple of hours catching up wandering around the garden and sitting in the sun, drinking tea, and eating a rock bun ;-)
